Rim Assaad

Biography

Rim Assaad is a Senior Consultant at Compass Energy Consulting, where she supports ITC labour compliance and procurement bid management for energy infrastructure projects across North America.

Rim plays a key role in Compass’s ITC labour compliance advisory services, including the review and analysis of project labour records, management of large volumes of compliance data, and preparation of project compliance status reports. Her work also includes interpreting legislative requirements under Canada’s Clean Economy Investment Tax Credit framework and analyzing collective agreements to determine prevailing wage benchmarks applicable to project labour.

In addition to her compliance work, Rim supports procurement bid management for utility-scale renewable energy projects. She assists project teams in navigating complex procurement documentation, translating regulatory and technical requirements into clear guidance, and supporting the organization of bid submissions to meet strict timelines.

Rim has more than a decade of experience in the energy sector across Canada, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, including seven years specializing in renewable energy in North America. She holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability, with a focus on energy systems and green technologies.
